Pixel 10 Launches Aug. 20 — Here’s Everything the Leaks Already Told Us
Google’s Pixel 10 family is coming — and thanks to leaks, we might already know almost everything about it. From triple-lens cameras on the base model to magnetic Qi2 charging and a new Tensor G5 chip, the Pixel 10 lineup is shaping up to be the most feature-packed yet.
Pixel 10: The Leaks That Practically Launched the Phone Already
Google’s Made by Google event on August 20 will officially unveil the new Pixel 10 lineup — but it’s almost like the phones are already in the wild. Between official teasers and a flood of credible leaks, we have a surprisingly detailed look at what’s coming.
The Lineup
As with the Pixel 9 generation, expect:
- Pixel 10
- Pixel 10 Pro
- Pixel 10 Pro XL
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Design-wise, these phones aren’t straying too far from their predecessors — the iconic camera bar remains. But there are big changes under the hood, and even the base model is getting a serious camera upgrade.
Camera Upgrades
The entry-level Pixel 10 now boasts a third rear camera — a 10.8MP telephoto joining the 48MP wide and 13MP ultrawide. This makes it much more competitive with Samsung’s Galaxy S25.
The Pro and Pro XL step things up with a 50MP wide, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto, promising serious photographic power.
Colors & Style
Leaks suggest some vibrant and sleek finishes:
- Pixel 10: Obsidian (black), Indigo (blueish purple), Frost (light blue), Lemonade (yellow)
- Pixel 10 Pro/XL: Obsidian, Porcelain (white), Moonstone (gray), Jade (light green)
Pricing
If rumors hold, Google is keeping the Pixel 9 pricing structure:
- Pixel 10: from $799
- Pixel 10 Pro: from $999
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: from $1,199
- Multiple storage tiers up to 1TB
Magnetic Qi2 Charging
Perhaps the most exciting leak? The Pixel 10 could support Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnets — making it compatible with many MagSafe accessories without a case. If true, you could use the same chargers, wallets, and mounts between iPhone and Pixel. Google might brand this as PixelSnap.
The Tensor G5 Chip
Powered by the rumored Tensor G5, made on TSMC’s 3nm process, the Pixel 10 should bring better efficiency and performance — even if it doesn’t quite outpace Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite in benchmarks.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold
The foldable returns, looking much like last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold but with the Tensor G5 and possible camera/battery upgrades.
With Android 16 out of the box and meaningful quality-of-life improvements like magnetic charging and camera boosts, the Pixel 10 series is shaping up to be more evolution than revolution — but an evolution with some genuinely exciting perks.
Mark your calendars: Aug. 20 is when we’ll find out just how accurate all these leaks really are.
